seriously though, with all the mages, druids and clerics, you'd think they'd be able to do something useful like raising crops, instead of spending their time blasting the crap out of each other.

As a Goretharian I can't favour either side, but as a player, the humans trying to take the Elves fertile lands from them sucks largely, and is costly in human life and financially. Surely spending some of that money on getting some druids to sort out the land would be a wiser move.

Mind you, after 50 years of warfare, I think it will be a long time before men and elves trust each other again ...... perhaps this is where the mellowsmoke weed comes in!?

Peace and love ... and all that stuff !

There's also the pleasant side effect that a healed land would mean more mellowsmoke.

"Don't worry, I'll have it all figured out by the time we reach the Frontier..."
"So what's that over there?"
"The Frontier..."

One of the age old solutions is not in the poll:
Get mages together, raise new land from ocean.
Beware angry sea elves.

Mages & druids someone hordes of water and earth elementals to revitalise the dry and barren M'Check wilderness areas.

(Could actually base a plot around this, perhaps with the outcome of a few fertile acres somewhere as a result).

[Edit: shame Bioware stopped you from summoning earth elementals :( ]

In a bold and courageous move, M'Chek could request T'Nanshi help to heal the land. The price? The end of a stupid and costly war which neither side will win or give way.

Sounds nice, but to my knowledge, after M'Chek made the first major advance into T'Nanshi, the elves basically said "Fek playing nice" and have started a near-genocidal warplan.

Hell, I have some land I can sell you M'Chek people. Cheap too, a real bargin. It just came on the market. Nothin' but blue skies and rolling emerald green hills. It does have a slight halfling infestation problem, but I am sure we could work something out in the sales agreement.

Give out free condoms on all the streetcorners! Give the women the magic herbs from the jungles! Backalley abortions! All that fun stuff.

Failing that, killing all the humans sounds good. Their decomposing bodies will eventually renew the land, giving it many desperately-needed nutrients. And their souls are so tasty!
