I think the ROTE Crafting Lessons are still not happening on Tuesdays, so let's try the usual Performance Evening on Wednesday and ACE Training on Thursday.

Both starting at 20:00 GMT - all welcome

For NEXT WEEK:

Please note that DST in the UK and Europe starts this Sunday (26th), so not sure what effect that will have on timing. It will probably need to be an hour earlier or later - I am never sure until it happens. I hate DST

Since UK Time will be GMT+1, so 20:00 UK Time will be 19:00 GMT, so the events will start earlier.
Maybe split the difference and start at 19:30 GMT?

Sorry guys, I can't manage tonight

I have had very little sleep two nights running and then today has been the worst day I have experienced in many years with the loss of my dog.

I am going to get an early night and hope I wake tomorrow to find today was just a nightmare. Upstairs I can pretend the dog is still safely downstairs, whilst sitting down here at the computer her bed is conspicuously empty

Oddly enough the loss of my dog has affected me even more than the loss of my father - perhaps because he was in a Home before he died, so I was preparing myself for the loss. Also of course, when he died I had my dog for company and support.

Now I have nothing. Life sucks as our US colleagues might say

Needless to say:

1. It wasn't just a nightmare - it is still true today

2. Going to bed at 20:00 just meant I lay awake for about 4 hours this morning. Then I got to work a lot earlier as there were no dog-related chores to do this morning before work. Maybe I can set the alarm a bit later now

The Gallery link all over the forum is useful. Just create an album, or use one of the public folders to upload if you are lazy. I hear DM Events is popular as id #1 for folders anyone can add to.

If you want more options, the non-internal forum Avlis Gallery is nice on the server that hosts our forum (when it gets the image toolkit fixed for auto-thumbnail creation and other stuff). More options for sharing and storing images than you'll ever need (and editing online). No limit for your own uploads ~yet~, but I'm working on my "suggestive" plan, to get krackq to set a limit, with how many I will add eventually (nevah say unlimited storage! ).

Apart from the problem of typing with one hand whilst nursing the dog, I should be around as usual this week, so we have:

Tuesday - ROTE Crafting - starting around 20:00 GMT (21:00 UK Time). Is this time OK for everyone? I could start an hour later but that allows less time for fun before bedtime

Wednesday - Ferrell Performance Evening - starting 19:30 GMT (20:30 UK Time)

Thursday - Elysia ACE Training Session - also starting 19:30 GMT (20:30 UK Time)
