I typically go with her to ?pick? out movies. I encourage her to get whatever she likes?. ?oh another movie set on a farm in England in the 1700s GREAT!? I then sit with her for about 15 minutes?.look pitiful ? and wait for her release me to go do other things. Eventually I?m going to have to watch one of those, but it works for now....

You know you're addicted to Avlis when...

You put on your t-shirt that came with the collector's edition of NWN, and your husband takes one look at it and screams "AHHHHHHHH!! NOT THAT! YOU PLAY THAT GAME ALL THE TIME!!!"

happened tonight ...

you know it's gotten real bad when...

...you have company over to your apartment in real-life, and afterwards you are wondering why you didn't get any gold or XP for the encounter.....

Ok, just given myself a test.. without looking at mails who told wich cahars was there and so on (and thus, I am only sure of two of the three White order mages) I managed to put names on over half of the characters in the picture..... Now if I only knew how to put this online without an own homepage...

When you find 2 wine bottles, 2 boxes of beer and a bottle of whiskey in the cupboard in your kitchen.. and suddenly remind yourself that this was bought because you were going to have RL friends at a poker party in early januari...

Breakfast? Try the first three hours of my workday. One of these days, I'm going to get caught and fired. Then it's Avlis all day long!

Sigh. You have a dream, where you write an particularily offensive or stupid post and put it on the forums. You dream that you get 20 responses from the DM's, either flaming you or calling you an asshole. Orleron himself bans you from the servers and locks the thread as a result.

You wake up, in a cold sweat, and run to your computer to check the forum and make certain you DID NOT post the message in question.

Happened.

You get home exhausted from working all damn day.But you decide to check out the message boards for Avlis...Two hours later you see a THIS post and realise what time it is,thinkinh "Oh crap!I have to get up and go work in a few hours!"
But you decide to reply to the post anyway.
*sigh* I'm a goner.I'm hooked.I find myself posting on our guild's message board for UO how great Avlis and NWN is,hoping I can pull some of them to my new drug,er I mean, game of choice :)
Seriously where will it end?I keep thinking of different characters I'd like to try, thinking of conversations I had with people in a game while I'm at work( Val loved sitting next to Hargas the other day in the tavern, listening to his dirty limericks)l.
It's hopeless I tell ya,hopeless.I'm hooked..*sigh*
*wonder if there's a 12 step program that might apply to this (Just kidding!I...think..)
