I have a mage with greater spell focus transmutation and I have read in the wiki that this command /ams Transmutant on will switch his spells and he can change shapes, only I am not having any luck doing such. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

Here is the link to the wiki which states this command.....http://wiki.avlis.org/Category:Transmutant

Greetings!

To obtain an advanced magic specialization requires in-game training from someone who has the AMS you want, as well as the mark of Andrinors Trust. Please see:

In order to unlock the ability to alter your spells, you have to actually become a transmutant. This entails:

Joining Andrinor's Trust (any of the nine mage orders)
Learning the AMS from an instructor (PC or NPC)

Until that's done, you cannot use the power of the AMS regardless of your use of the toggle.
