Wild magic areas, and "You fall madly in love"

PostAuthor: Gorgon » Sat Sep 01, 2012 2:25 am

Two questions, but the second seems pretty obvious to me. Wild magic areas can cause a PC to "fall madly in love with the first creature you see for 1 IG day". This is a bit more fun with the longer days now (and poor Chad had it happen to him today too :P ).

1st question: Can this be removed with a remove curse (and would anything else work)?
2nd question: Does the victim know it happened so he/she can fix it? This one sounds like rule #0, and doesn't make sense if they know they aren't really in love, but I might as well ask.

*edits* Both questions may have very different answers if a DM is involved, but I was asking about situations when a DM isn't around to deal with it.

Have you ever seen Fabello? Run and hide or kiss the person closest to you?

Everything is fair game.

It can be removed with a dispell magic or a remove curse. It should have said something like that at the end of the effect description. :)

Surges by wild mages might have that extra note in them, but the logs don't show anything like that for areas with wild magic. Thanks.

Let it be known, it is the same way. We are not going to force someone to rp something they don't feel comfortable doing. Soooo we give solutions. :)
