Actually you could send a bunch at once to the Netherlands (and then re-send them when they get here), that might be cheaper.

i think too, because there are several people in holland I guess that are going to buy this book....

Let's set the cost at US$50 for a 300-page hard cover black and white 8.5" x 11" book.

Absolutely! Count me in!

As an aside, I'd love colour and would be willing to pay extra... I have no idea what the incremental cost for colour is though...

Are you considering leaving the 3.5 stuff in? I'd love that too!

Me and Isengrim are definitely in for one :D With the signature of Teh Boss. Not to spoil results of your poll, Orl, I voted no and Isengrim voted yes, one copy.

The idea about blank pages for signatures of the Avlissians is IMO really nice. 1-2 blank pages would be enough. It's something like signed class-photo from the secondary school ;)

Oh and we actually thought it's nice to have TANGIBLE book, as a proof&memento of all those hours spent on Avlis....in case servers, Avlis webpage, bah, entire internet goes puff.

Have you considered print on demand? The per-unit cost is probably higher, but it eliminates the upfront costs.

It might make sense for something like this.

Voted yes, since I promised I'd buy at least one when I put in the work for it.

Voted 1. For a game that is free to play, it sure has cost me a bunch! :)

:O

ooh! You should also, at some point, make a thing on the forums (sign-up thing) where people whom want their board names and character names (or something along those lines) put into the book as well, like on a credit page.

Hell, maybe even pay some money to get a character page dedicated just to them? eh, eh? Just thinking. :D

And again, a signature page for place to get Avlisians signatures (including your's boss :P) would be hawt.

Make me want to pre-order one even more. :D

No publishers are going to touch this thing with a 10 foot pole now that 4E is coming out. *sigh*

So basically I'm collecting all the art and doing it all myself, which might take longer and be more expensive, but it will come out nonetheless.
